Know about Selection Procedure
RBI Assistant exam is conducted following the regular procedure where written exam is divided into two phases- Preliminary and Main. The written exam is followed by LPT- Language Proficiency Test where successful candidates undergo local language proficiency test.

Language Proficiency Test

All the provisionally selected candidates from main examination (online) will require undergo LPT (Language Proficiency Test) which is conducted in the local or official language of the concerned State.

The candidates who successfully complete the written exam including both Preliminary and Main streams will be invited for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The test is conducted in the official language of the State where the candidate is posted. It is equally important to pass the LPT test positively to get selected in RBI (Assistant) exam.

Candidates who fail to display proficiency skills in the local stands disqualify.

Who Can Apply?
Categories of PWD candidates who are eligible to apply for the RBI Assistant posts include:

VH candidates
®     B - Blind
®     LV- Low Vision

OH- Locomotor Disability candidates
®     OA - One arm affected (Right or Left)
®     BL – Both legs affected but not arms
®     OL – One leg affected (Right or Left) 

HI candidates
®     PD - Partially Deaf
®     D – Deaf
